Whether newcomers or industry giants, various suppliers of innovative products in the beverages sector will come together at INTERNORGA 2023. Following the successful premiere of the ‘Craft Coffee Area’ last year, accompanying the well-established ‘Craft Spirit Lounge’, the leading trade fair for the entire foodservice and hospitality market is once again devoting exhibition areas to the two trending topics of coffee and spirits. Visitors will also have the chance to meet the producers in person and to take inspiration from a varied range of handcrafted spirits and coffee roasts.
‘We are delighted that we can once again cover relevant, dynamic topics and offer a platform for anyone interested to taste and discover promising beverage innovations with the trendy “Craft Coffee Area” and the popular “Craft Spirit Lounge”,’ says Claudia Johannsen, Division Manager at Hamburg Messe und Congress.
It’s all about enjoying coffee
The ‘Craft Coffee Area’ proedives that coffee making is both an art and a science. It is the place to be for all coffee lovers who appreciate individuality and the best flavour. The trend area features individual roasts and new developments in the world of Germany’s favourite drink. Among others, exhibitors such as my-own-coffee Kaffeemanufaktur, Röstwelt Kaffeekult and the two Hamburg-based specialist roasters Three Oaks Roastery GmbH and H.C.C. Hanseatic Coffee Company GmbH will be represented there. There will also be a large selection of innovative coffee machines for visitors to explore, ranging from sophisticated portafilter machines to automated coffee machines. Further variety is provided by innovations such as ‘coffee printers’, which artistically decorate milk froth.
Artisanal spirits with and without alcohol
Another source of inspiration in the beverages sector is the ‘Craft Spirit Lounge’. Visitors will find the finest distillates from young and trend-conscious manufacturers of spirits, offering everything from handcrafted fruit brandies and liqueurs to smoky whiskies, gins with unusual botanicals, and non-alcoholic alternatives. Unique creations such as aromatic rum liqueurs from Black Work Pirates GmbH or the Hamburger Gold liqueur from the start-up of the same name demonstrate that these passionate producers of spirits are focused on creativity and new taste experiences, as well as regionality and sustainability. All that makes the ‘Craft Spirit Lounge’ an ideal platform for any restaurateur who wants to enhance their drinks menu with unique beverages and learn all about new products.
In addition to the wide range of products, INTERNORGA offers the industry various networking opportunities. In March 2023, the trade fair will also make use of innovative formats such as the INTERNORGA Open Stage, which makes targeted knowledge transfer possible. It provides an inspiring location for industry stakeholders, exhibitors and visitors to discuss solutions to the current challenges in the sector.
