Last call: applications for the Next Chef Award and INTERNORGA Future Award still possible until 15 January 2023

The Next Chef Award, known as the popular competition for up-and-coming chefs, will take place at the leading international trade fair for hotels, restaurants, bakery and confectionery from 11 to 13 March 2023. Applications for this and for the prestigious INTERNORGA Future Award that will take place on 10 March 2023 are now open. INTERNORGA will take place from 10 to 14 March 2023.

Wanted: Next Chef 2023

After a three-year break, star chef Johann Lafer, a jury of star chefs and INTERNORGA will choose once again the ‘Next Chef’. The cooking competition will take place over three days in the Hamburg exhibition halls. The winner will not only own the title of Next Chef, but publish his or her own cookbook in the Gräfe und Unzer Verlag. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended from December 31, 2022 to January 15, 2023.

Young culinary talents from Germany, Austria and Switzerland can apply. They must not be older than 26 years and must have completed vocational training. Training in any gastronomic branches is permitted – such as restaurants or any form of catering.

Next edition of the INTERNORGA Future Award

The prize, which is one of the most important national and international awards in the foodservice and hospitality market, is awarded in three categories: ‘Food & Beverages’, ‘Technology & Equipment’ and ‘Catering & Hotel Industry’. The winners will be selected by an independent specialist jury comprising recognised experts from business, science and society.
