Germany's best pizza chef chosen

Hall A2

The German qualifying round for the Pizza World Championship with a total of 24 participants is a hot one.
In addition to instructive workshops, the competition is the highlight of the fair for the popular Italian speciality.

Nicola Diana won the title "Best Pizza Baker in Germany 2018". The 32-year-old convinced with his classic modern creation with pesto genovese, burrata, mortadella, pistachios and parmesan chips. The combination of list of ingredients, preparation and taste was the decisive factor in winning the competition.

German preliminary decision for Pizza World Championship 2019

The pizza bakers are again competing for the title and on 18 March they will be competing for the World Pizza Championships in Parma in April 2019.
