INTERNORGA 2024 is not only the leading trade fair for the out-of-home market, but also the epicenter of culinary innovations and entrepreneurial spirit. The INTERNORGA competitions – the Next Chef Award, the INTERNORGA Future Award, and the German Gastro Founder Award – radiate far beyond the borders of Hamburg. Chief among them is the industry’s Oscar – the INTERNORGA Future Award. The award has been presented since 2011 and annually honors companies that set new standards in the out-of-home market with creativity, courage and commitment. This award rightfully represents innovation and future-oriented action, setting the course for progress in the gastronomy sector.

Under the patronage of celebrity chef Johann Lafer, the Next Chef Award 2024 is underway, searching for the next big talent in the culinary scene. In exciting live challenges, 18 young chefs will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted title over three days. Applications are still possible until December 31, 2023.

At the center of the German Gasto Founder Award finals are innovative gastronomy start-ups in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, who receive a prominent platform at INTERNORGA. Five young concepts will compete against each other in live pitches and try to convince the expert audience in attendance with short presentations. Applications for the competition, conducted jointly by INTERNORGA, the Leaders Club and orderbird, will be accepted until December 8, 2023.
